New beginnings-The power of faith, friendship and a promise.
This photoshoot was much more than your typical maternity-shoot. As fate would have it, I was introduced to this amazing woman, as both of our lives were facing devastating trials. As we were brought together in tragedy, we connected in a way that most people cannot understand. She was strong, powerful, reassuring, and one of my biggest mentors. She gave me so much encouragement, and strengthened me with her grace, honor and faith.
As both our lives began to shift, we began to see our promises come to life. We both began to heal, and our lives began to completely transform!
When I found out she was pregnant, I was overwhelmed with happiness. I knew how much she loved her children, and could not be happier for her to get to experience motherhood all over again, with the love of her life. This baby is truly a testament to her devotion, commitment, strength, obedience, and faith. I knew that I was being called to capture this blessing, and could not be more thankful for the opportunity to share this special moment with someone I consider an incredible friend and role-model.
